The Indiana Surfskate is not just any skateboard. It is the result of our intensive collaboration with Balz Müller. With our roots in the Swiss skateboard scene dating back to 1989 and Balz's vision of a fun orientated board, this unique deck was born. This board taps into the trend of surf skating and brings the feeling of riding waves to the streets. 

Balz Müller's journey began as a young windsurfer on Lake Biel, and today he is a globally recognised wingfoiler. His passion for water sports has not only made him an outstanding athlete, but also a creative mind who is always exploring new possibilities. His experience on balanceboards and skateboards has helped him hone his skills and develop new techniques.

For Balz Müller, our Indiana Surfskate is more than just a board - it is an expression of his love of nature and creativity in sport.  The deck is made of 7 layers of American maple plywood plus the top layers are made of fineline or technical walnut veneer, which perfectly combines aesthetics and sustainability. Each individual wood drawing turns your board into a unique work of art. The innovative longitudinal/transverse sandwich construction made of Canadian hardwood maple ensures maximum stability and minimises deformation.

Fineline veneers, also known as designer veneers or multilaminar wood, are produced using a special process. For this purpose, sliced or peeled veneers of different types of wood or coloured veneers in different shapes and structures are glued together to form veneer blocks from which new veneers can be produced. In addition to the reproduction of wood species, fantasy structures can also be produced. Fineline veneers are uniform in colour and the design is consistent. This makes design veneers ideal for large projects that require a uniform texture, colour and appearance.
